Applications of Liquid Flow Meter

Liquid flow meters are used in the medical industry. Flow meters measure lung performance in patients who have asthma. The measurement is accomplished by using a variable area/ peak flow meter, which contains a floater inside of a calibrated cylinder. The measurement is acquired by the displacement of the floater, as a medium (such as air or fluids) passes through the calibrated cylinder. In asthma patients, the measurement is taken for the air passing through the bronchi. Health and food organizations utilize flow meters for testing liquids in the production of goods and medicines. Water companies, manufacturers and industrial companies utilize liquid flow meters for testing liquids used in their processes.
