Steam Pressure Switch How to Change a Whirlpool Duet Analog Steam Pressure Switch Instructions 1.Unplug the Duet from the wall and pull it out a few feet. 2.Turn off the water supply and disconnect the hoses running to the back of the Duet. 3.Insert the screwdriver into the three screws on the back of the washer panel and remove them. Slide the rear panel up and off the back of the washer. 4.Remove the plastic wiring harness, by hand, from the back of the Duet's old pressure switch. 5.Remove the retaining screws holding the old switch in place with the screwdriver. Hold the new switch in place, insert the screws and tighten them with the screwdriver. 6.Plug the electric wiring harness into the back of the new steam pressure switch. 7.Slide the back panel back into place and replace the retaining screws. Also re- connect the washer's hoses and plug it back in. 8.Run a load of laundry in the Duet to test the new switch. |
